Botanical Beach Provincial Park

Botanical Beach, situated near Port Renfrew, offers a fascinating landscape where unique geological features like sandstone cliffs and rock shelves meet rich marine life. A trail leads to a variety of environments, from jagged rocks with barnacles to smooth formations housing vibrant tide pools. The surrounding area includes whimsical forests, twisted trees, and picturesque views of Botany Bay’s volcanic rock formations. It’s a remarkable destination for exploration and photography.

"The walk could be a bit long for hiking rookies but it’s worth it. The view alone is great but the tide pools and rock formations are spectacular. If you can, try to be there when there’s large waves. Might want to double check when the tide is out just to ensure you have all the area to play in."
