Fresh Food, Local Events and Family Fun

We passionately grow food, care for animals and tailor experiences to help enrich our community.

Woodside Farm is a historic farm in Sooke BC which began in 1851, making it one of Western Canada's oldest continuously operated farm.

The farm has now become a friendly destination in Sooke during our Fresh Food Experience days, welcoming locals and visitors to meet our friendly animals, view our gardens, walk our amazing apple orchard maze and learn more about the history of Sooke. The farm also hosts school visits, birthday parties and has a 24 hour farm stand.

Book your stay in a 19th century historic farm house, newly updated and surrounded by flowers, gardens and animals.

Each summer we invite visitors to come taste, explore, and play at Woodside Farm’s Fresh Food Experiences — an all-day celebration of fresh foods, family fun, and farm life.

On these days you can view our friendly animals, walk the gardens, play on our boat playground, view the historic barn, take a nature walk, find your way through our exciting Apple orchard maze and eat as many of our ripe fruit, berries and vegetables as you'd like!

Whether you're looking for an outdoor adventure or a hands-on experience with nature, this event offers the perfect blend of both.

"Love this family owned farm!! There is so much to see for the whole family. Kids can enjoy the playground and the animals. Take a stroll through the gardens and get lost in the apple maze!"

We acknowledge with respect and gratitude the traditional territories and living histories of the SC’IȺNEW Nation, meaning “the place of the big fish,” the T’Souke First Nation whose name comes from the local stickleback fish and the Pacheedaht First Nation, known as the “People of the sea foam.”

As visitors, we invite you to support Indigenous-owned and operated businesses, travel with care, take the Pacheedaht Pledge and embrace cultural learning opportunities that deepen your understanding of place.
